Hello no one, the five people reading this right now, and hopefully the thousands to come.

I’m just an average guy who decided after four years of teaching in the elementary world, that change was in the air.  I uprooted myself, accepted an ESL job halfway across the world and currently live in a town with a population size of 5,000 people.  Here in Mitzpe Ramon Israel located in the Negev desert, there is sand, sand, and more sand, and it is here that I reside.  There’s not a lot to offer outside of hiking, even more, sand, and some mindblowing sunsets, however, there is a plentiful amount of time to think.

So, 8 months in and 2 more to go, I am here to share with you my life.  The do’s, and the donts I have accumulated along the way, the tales I have learned from friends, family, acquaintances, and strangers alike.  Join me on our Tale of Two Cities, to hear the voices and words of others and myself.  Allow us to share how we came to be in that one moment, day, week, month, or year to be exploring, living, laughing, and sometimes even lost together.

These tales of our home and our away will allow you to take a step back, take a deep breath, and for a small piece of your time, be able to look outside your own lens, and see the world outside.
