I’ve come to the realization that I am technologically inept. I purchased the Bluehost platform, created a domain and then sat staring at my screen for the next 10 minutes. I had no idea which buttons to press, what to upload, or where to go to correctly link my navigation menu to the correct page. I was utterly hopeless. This happened within the last 24 hours, during which time I switched back and forth between themes, wrote one or two quotes, and in the end abruptly closed my computer, and declared “No more.”
Today was a different experience. I still had no idea what to do, but this time…I took a deep breath, dove headfirst, and actually made a little headway. It is not perfect, nor is it a masterpiece. However, it is a small success indeed, and I came much much much farther then I did yesterday.
This small battle has been won, and I am sure that I will lose the next one and maybe the one after that. Although, it is a start, and I am pleasantly surprised and excited to see what comes next.
